Following the refurbishment works at the Castelo de Vide Transfer Station/Eco-center, we would like to inform you of the temporary closure of this facility. Therefore, from October 25, 2025, bulky waste and paper/cardboard should be delivered to the Portalegre Transfer Station/Eco-center, located at Monte da Mergulhagem, Estrada da Urra.

At the end of 2024, VALNOR conducted a stakeholder survey by sending digital questionnaires to monitor customer perception regarding the degree to which their needs and expectations were being met. This assessment covered Municipal Councils, Parish Councils, SIGRE clients, organic compost clients, Product and Service clients, and Door-to-Door Selective Collection clients (Commerce and Services), allowing for the collection of valuable contributions on various aspects of the services provided.

Aligned with customer behavior trends, the Recycling Line app aims to facilitate and encourage recycling through a practical, accessible, and intuitive tool that allows users to ask questions and contribute to the adoption of more conscious behaviors and good environmental practices in their daily lives.

EGF was awarded two prizes at the 5th edition of the National Sustainability Award, promoted by the Jornal de Negócios newspaper. This recognition highlights the work of all the group's companies, including VALNOR, and the daily commitment of more than 3,000 employees throughout the country.

Seeking to continuously contribute to improving the service provided to the population, Valnor has acquired a new 8x8 dumper truck, specially adapted to cope with the challenging conditions of landfills and difficult terrain. With an investment of EUR 185,000, this new vehicle, equipped with 8-wheel drive and a dumper-type body, has been designed to ensure greater efficiency, durability and safety in daily operations.
