VALNOR is responsible for the management, recovery and treatment of municipal solid waste produced in the municipalities of Abrantes, Alter do Chão, Arronches, Avis, Campo Maior, Castelo Branco, Castelo de Vide, Crato, Elvas, Fronteira, Gavião, Idanha-a-Nova, Mação, Marvão, Monforte, Nisa, Oleiros, Ponte de Sôr, Portalegre, Proença-a-Nova, Sardoal, Sertã, Sousel, Vila de Rei and Vila Velha de Rodão.

The Selective Packaging Collection Service is characterised by its proximity to the population and takes various forms, given the need to adapt to each geographical area and target audience, namely the collection of recycling bins, door-to-door collection, ecological islands or through voluntary deliveries.

To this end, Valnor has around 6,548 containers for selective collection and a fleet of 23 collection vehicles.
